Privacy Policy
1. Basic Policy
Personal information is an individual’s important asset.
All individuals engaged in operations at the Japan Telecommunications Engineering and Consulting Service (JTEC) shall comply with the Personal Information Protection Management System concerning personal information protection and handle personal information accurately and safely.
2. Purpose of the Personal Information Protection Management System
The scope of activities of the Foundation is as follows:
- Activities to promote international mutual understanding in the fields of telecommunications and broadcasting
- Training and human resource development for telecommunications and broadcasting personnel from overseas countries
- Cooperation in promoting information and communication projects in overseas countries
- Consulting services related to telecommunications and broadcasting in developing countries
- Support for the international expansion of Japan’s information and communication industry
- In the above activities, this system defines the appropriate acquisition, use, provision, and management of personal information, and the regulations for operating it.
- This system establishes a code of conduct and specific rules regarding the prevention and correction of leakage, loss, or damage to personal information.
3. Organizational Response
The following measures will be taken to concretize the basic policy:
- All officers and staff members shall comply with laws and other regulations concerning personal information.
- A Personal Information Protection Manager shall be appointed, who will be given the responsibility and authority to implement and operate the Personal Information Protection Management System and perform related tasks.
- An Audit Officer shall be appointed to conduct audits.
- Based on the audit results, internal regulations and operational methods shall be improved.
- Companies and individuals involved in transactions shall be requested to cooperate in achieving the objectives of the regulations.
- This protection policy shall be made available for viewing at any time by posting it on the Company’s website (URL= http://www.jtec.or.jp/ ) and in company brochures.
- The Personal Information Protection Management System shall be continuously improved.
4. Handling of Personal Information

- Implementation of Safety Measures
When acquiring personal information, the Foundation shall clarify the purpose of use to the individual, limit the scope of use of the acquired personal information, and handle it appropriately.
The Foundation respects the individual’s rights regarding personal information, and when an individual requests disclosure, correction, or deletion of their own personal information, the Foundation shall respond to such requests within a reasonable period and to a reasonable extent.
The Foundation shall develop internal regulations to prevent troubles such as personal information being leaked outside the company, or being leaked, lost, or damaged, and shall implement appropriate safety measures, such as taking necessary and appropriate measures for the prevention of leakage, loss, or damage, and other safety management of personal information, according to the risks to personal information.
