JTEC FY2025 Activity Report

Foreword

Reflecting on Our Initiatives in FY2025

Toshiyuki Minami, President

At JTEC, in addition to our conventional support centered on ICT infrastructure development and human resource cultivation, we have been expanding our operations to support Digital Transformation (DX) in developing countries.
In FY2025, we further advanced our DX initiatives, focusing on fields such as disaster prevention, healthcare, agriculture, and cybersecurity. We concentrated on identifying and promoting digital technology projects, providing advice on digital transformation, and developing capabilities, while striving to collaborate with domestic and international companies, including our supporting member corporations. We have posted JTEC’s activity status for FY2025 here for your reference.
In recent years, as international concerns regarding overseas dependence on critical technologies and communication infrastructure have grown, the information and communications field has become increasingly important from the perspective of economic security. Our foundation will further strengthen cooperation with Japanese companies in fields where Japan possesses strengths, such as AI technology, communication/broadcasting infrastructure, and disaster prevention ICT, and we will promote initiatives that contribute to the international expansion of these technologies and the enhancement of international competitiveness.
We look forward to your continued support.
